BAB/Copywriting & Storytelling Method
What is BAB?
I recorded an episode where I teach the BAB method. BAB stands for Before, After, Bridge. This is a great writing method to have your audience be lead somewhere. Whether it be to your landing page, blog, podcast, newsletter sign ups. BAB is one of the most effective ways to lead someone from point A to point B.
I recorded a podcast talking about and showing this method. Click the link below to see the video or take a listen. I did my best to where you will understand whether you're watching or listening.
Here's a quick example.
BAB Example
Before - what was your life like before you learned this lesson for example, before I learned about storytelling my posts were "had fun doing X" or I added a cheesy platitude like "one day or day one." I wasn't until I took this storytelling class by Sun Yi (here is the "A" after) I learned how to tell better stories and now my captions are story's of moments or lessons within the photo. I learned how to show not tell. If you want to learn how to show and not tell sign up for my newsletter (Bridge to somewhere, this case newsletter) for more lessons like this.
Which side note do offer coaching calls where I teach personal brand storytelling and copywriting. Shameless plug click here for more info.
I hope this and the podcast helps. I wanted to keep it short and sweet.
I'll be sending more techniques to help grow your personal brand and storytelling. Click on the templates and course pages if you would like to learn more about storytelling for you brand.
Thanks for reading! - Mike.
